Service

Website Design & Conversion

A website earns its keep when a stranger can understand what you do, believe you can do it, and contact you without hunting. This service builds that site from scratch for businesses that do not have one yet, and rebuilds or reworks an existing site around the same single job.

Who this is for

First, local service businesses — home services, trades, repair shops, clinics, legal and financial practices, cleaning, landscaping, and similar — that have no website at all and are currently found only by word of mouth, a social profile, or a directory listing someone else controls.

It also fits owners who already have a site that is outdated, template-built years ago, or getting some traffic but few inquiries.

And it fits owners who advertise. Paid clicks land somewhere; if that page is slow, vague, hard to contact from — or does not exist — the ad budget absorbs the damage.

  • You have no website yet, or only a social profile or directory listing you do not control
  • Customers cannot confirm what you do, where you work, or how to reach you before they call
  • Visitors arrive but rarely call or submit the form
  • The site is slow or awkward on a phone
  • Services, service area, and pricing approach are unclear or buried
  • Contact requires scrolling, zooming, or a broken form
  • You cannot tell which pages produce inquiries

What you get

Every engagement is scoped in writing before work starts, so you know the page count, the review points, and what is included.

  • A page structure with one focused page per priority service, plus home, about, process, and contact
  • Written page copy drafted from your own words in the intake, then edited with you
  • Mobile-first layout with legible type, tap targets sized for thumbs, and no horizontal scrolling
  • A visible phone link, a short contact form, and a repeated call-to-action on every page
  • Accessibility work toward WCAG 2.2 AA: semantic headings, labels, visible focus, alt text, and contrast
  • Performance work: compressed responsive images, restrained scripts, and server-rendered HTML
  • Form delivery to your inbox with validation, spam protection, and a visible success or error state
  • Basic page metadata, canonical URLs, and the structured data your pages support

How the work runs

The build follows the same four steps as every engagement — Understand, Audit, Execute, Improve — described on the process page.

1. Intake and structure

We confirm your services, service area, ideal customer, and the single action worth the most to you: a call, a booked appointment, or a quote request. From that we agree on the page list.

2. Copy and design

You review copy before design. Design applies your existing colors, logo, and photography where they exist; we do not invent awards, reviews, or credentials to fill space.

3. Build, review, launch

You get a private preview link, the number of revision rounds agreed in your written scope, and a pre-launch check covering mobile layout, forms, phone links, and metadata. Launch happens on a date you approve.

What we need from you

  • Accurate business facts: legal or trading name, phone, email, service area, hours
  • Your service list in priority order, and anything you deliberately do not offer
  • Real photos if you have them, plus logo files
  • Any genuine reviews, licenses, or credentials you can substantiate — we publish nothing we cannot verify
  • One decision-maker for approvals, and replies within a few business days

Scope boundaries

This service covers the website and its conversion paths. It does not include running ad campaigns, managing your inbox or phone calls, writing legal terms specific to your industry, or supplying stock testimonials.

Ecommerce checkouts, member portals, and booking systems tied to third-party software are possible but are scoped and quoted separately, because they depend on the tool you already use.

Questions about this page

Do I have to move my website somewhere else?
Not always. Some sites can be improved in place; others are faster and cheaper to rebuild. The review tells you which, and you decide. Your domain stays yours either way.
Will a new site increase my leads?
A clearer, faster site removes friction that costs inquiries, but no one can promise a lead volume. What we can commit to is measurable conversion paths, so you can see what visitors actually do. See how to measure whether a website produces leads.
Can the site be bilingual?
Yes. English and neutral US Spanish pages with reciprocal language links are supported, and this site itself is built that way. How translation is produced and reviewed is agreed in the written scope for your project.
